Then you need to pay attention to something I've recently discovered ...

Just a little over a month ago I started experimenting with a new site that was (to me at the time) new and exciting. It was easy to use, free to join, and enables its users to build large sites of virtually any type. It's a wiki.

Prior to early January, I had played with other wiki platforms and they didn't meet my needs, I wanted one that automatically produced search engine friendly URL's, and that allowed me to easily restrict others from modifying or adding pages that they shouldn't.

Though I'm sure if I were more technically capable, or had more time, I could have come up with something, I'm glad I didn't. Because I wouldn't have found my new favorite platform.

So I started experimenting, and found quite by accident that pages that I added to my wiki were quickly indexed. Cool.

And then I found that my pages were getting traffic, and I could see the search terms and found out, to my surprise, that some of my pages were ranking very well on Google. Cooler still.

The more I experimented, the more I learned, and by the end of the month I was feeling absolutely giddy about my newfound abilities to attract search engine traffic.

However, I wanted to do it again, because on my first wiki I actually did some things like link my blog to it, and maybe that was influencing the ability to get pages indexed very quickly.

So I started from scratch. And, at the same time, I asked a friend of mine, who was heavily promoting a heavily touted launch, if he minded if I try an experiment, by putting up a quick page that used his affiliate link to send traffic to his presell page.

On January 29th, I posted a short article talking about Frank Kern's Mass Control site. You've probably heard about that launch, personally I must have received about 500 emails, so I knew the competition for the traffic was fairly intense.

Amazingly, on February 1, just 2 days after I posted the article on my wiki, I ranked #2 in Google for one of the top phrases, and #3 for another. I found those facts out because my page started to receive significant traffic. I have a video which shows proof of the rankings and what the search terms were.

And, oh yes, the new wiki that I started from scratch, also was indexed and started receiving traffic for a significant search phrase in another niche, one which probably would cost $5 or more with AdWords. This one took longer, 3 days to be precise.

Now before I overhype this technique, I have to mention that during my experimentation in January, I found that pages that ranked high one day would be gone the next, and then come back a couple days later. I might have 40 pages indexed one day, and 20 the next. It was just a matter of Google shuffling things around among different data servers, I guess, but eventually the pages came back into the index, sometimes the rankings disappeared, sometimes they came back as strong as ever. And eventually they stabilize. I guess the same thing happens on a regular site as well, except I've never seen a page on a regular site get indexed and ranked so quickly.

What you're buying here is a tutorial showing you how to claim a wiki on a site that's very underutilized at the moment, but that has a high PR, which causes Google to take notice almost instantly.

I also show you how to edit your pages, and set up your wiki in what I've found to be the best way to ensure quick indexing and high ranking.

You'll receive a report in PDF format, and a series of 4 videos, totalling a bit less than an hour, showing every step of the way. The PDF isn't exactly a transcript, there is somewhat different information between the videos and the report, but either one would teach you how to successfully set up the wiki site.

After watching the videos and/or reading the report, you should be able to set up your own wiki that's search engine friendly in less than an hour.

quote : This is first class information Dennis, thanks for allowing us to review it here. I learned a lot just from the first quick run through of the PDF and I'm sure when I've got time to sit down and go through it in more depth I'll get even more benefit. The ebook alone is better than most products that are put out today but bundled with the videos I'm sure you've got another sure fire winner on your hands. Well done! --Nigel

quote : Dennis, I watched the videos and (quickly) went over the report. All I can say is, "Well done!" This is a report which is definitely worthy of the price. And kudos to the fact that the pdf goes over most of what the videos cover. I really like that because it's time-consuming and difficult to have to go back through and watch videos over multiple times just to get to the details of the "how to." It's so much better and easier (not to mention quicker) to be able to watch the vids to get the gist of the strategy and then go to the pdf for the details. I know it's more difficult for the developer to produce but it makes for a more complete product with added value IMHO and I appreciate it. I've added "Make Wiki site(s)" to my 5buckaday project list. Thanks so much Dennis! --Gail

quote : Hi Dennis, I just finished watching all the videos. They are great. You could also bundle them and sell a product on how to set up local directory sites. Ex: Teach local site building, how to add categories, and listings from local businesses, contact them , show their ranking and upsell them for a monthly fee such as their menu online, or set up lead agreements with local service providers. Thanks for sharing. I am going to try building a few wiki sites for productive ebay mms niches. Maybe you could start a thread for creative wiki usage ideas. Great value here. --Gary

quote : This is a great package Dennis. You have demystified the process of creating a Wiki for me. I love your step-by-step instructions. I agree with Gail... I like to have a PDF to refer to in addition to videos. I can't imagine I would have even tried to build a Wiki without your instructions. But now I can't wait to set one up! It would be great to discuss this technique further. Thank you! --Jackie

quote : Thanks Dennis - this is wonderful. Love the PDF and the videos. I watched the videos first, and started a wiki right away. Although I've been thinking about installing wikis on a couple of my sites, I never got around to it. I weighed up the time spent learning/ fiddling/ gnashing my teeth... and stuck to blogging. Smile But you've helped me to look at wikis in a new light, and inspired me. I love the features of this wiki platform, and your videos were a great help in setting a wiki up in minutes. Great - this product alone is worth the cost of my membership for the year. Thank you again. Cheers --Angela

Satisfaction guaranteed, of course. You may certainly find that everything discussed is freely available elsewhere, but the results of my month long experimentation and the ability to learn how to do what I'm doing in less than an hour, should certainly be worth the small price below, don't you think?
